Ruby and Emma invited Marguerite to see the spring daffodils, in an attempt to cheer her up !

Awwww, bless ! ... Isn't this just the cutest ? 

My little Munchkins were a tad worried that Auntie Marguerite was looking far too sad on our Yorkshire Dales vacation last week (They dont really understand what's happened to the poor dear with regards to her recent heartbreak though :( ).  But the precious cherubs were determined to brighten her day none the less.

So, seeing as they know she likes flowers, my clever little Emmy came up with a plan to take Margie out to see the lovely spring daffodils, which had started to bloom in the holiday cottage garden during our stay ... Weren't they pretty ! :)

Ruby even picked one and presented it to her Auntie as a little gifty too ... So SWEET, hey !  My stepsister was incredibly touched by the gesture ... Awwww.  And I think it did help her to feel a little less blue in the end as well.

Exploring Aysgarth Falls - The place where Robin Hood met Little John (In the film) ! ;)

During our lovely vacation in the Yorkshire Dales recently we had several exciting days out.  One of them we visited the picturesque Aysgarth Falls, and here's a little piccy of us adventuring there.

Aysgarth Falls are a triple flight of waterfalls, surrounded by forest and farmland, carved out by the River Ure over almost a mile. 

For those of you who've seen the film 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves', you may be interested to know that the upper falls (seen in this photo) and middle falls too, were featured in the movie during the scenes where Robin Hood first meets Little John.  When they partake in their famous fight across the water, THIS is where that took place ... Pretty cool, huh ;)

Ruby and Emma didn't have a clue what Rocky was talking about when he was trying to explain about the famous filming etc here mind you.  Our littlest Munchkin even asked "Who'th Wobin Hood, Daddy ?" ... Bless her, hey.  But the girls loved running about and exploring none the less, whilst us adults watched the cascading waterfalls.  We all had a lovely day out though, and even Marguerite seemed to cheer up a touch from it too, which was great !

Greetings from the lovely scenic Yorkshire Dales countryside !

 Hi everyone,

Sorry I've been so quiet this last week, but Rocky, the girls and I have been enjoying a nice early spring vacation in the Yorkshire Dales ... Wasn't it PRETTY ?! <3

As you can see, we invited my stepsister, Marguerite, to join us too.  I thought the poor dear needed a break, and a change of scenery, to clear her head after her recent split from Bruce ... Although if we're being honest here, I think it was pretty obvious that the sweet girl spent most of her time pining for her former-boyfriend throughout our stay.  Hmmmmm :/.

Anyway though, we had a lovely time none the less.  Ruby and Emmy were very fond of all the sheepies we kept spotting in the fields near the holiday cottage.  Plus we even had a squirrel and pheasant that visited the garden as well.  The girls named them Bob (The Squirrel) and Phil (The Pheasant) ... So cute !! :)

I have a few more piccys of our adventures which I'll be uploading over the next few days.  But in the meantime however, I suppose I'd better start unpacking now that we're home again at last, hey.

Chapter 192 – “Torn In Half” – 19th March 2015.

In the final instalment of this 3 part saga, the seemingly stupid consequences of my previous chapter come to a head at last. Oooh-ecckk !! But can my sister and her boyfriend ride out the coming storm and save their relationship ? Or is it simply too late ? Has the situation gone too far now, meaning the inevitable outcome will leave Marguerite and Bruce torn in half after all ? Awwww.

Midnight Changes Everything ! – “Remember the magic will only last so long”.

A tribute to my live action counterpart on the official release of the new 2015 Disney Cinderella movie.

Tah-daaaaaah !! So what do you all think of my modelling efforts from yesterday’s photo-shoot then ?

Isn’t Rai’s crocheted dress utterly FAB ? And SO in keeping with the gown from the movie too … It’s even layered, and trust me, the skirt is MUCH bigger than it appears in this photo as well. Plus it flows gorgeously when in motion, as you can see here.

Best of all though, Rai’s said I can KEEP the dress as well … Ooooh, GOODY !!

I’m amazed how closely Elise has managed to capture the essence of the movie poster with her photography efforts as well though. It REALLY looks as though I’m dashing away from the ball in front of a midnight sky … So romantic <3.

I think it only right that us animated Cinderella’s should tip our hats to the wonderful new live action movie though. And hopefully it will refresh our magical story of Fairy Godmothers, pumpkins, glass slippers, and finding TRUE love against all odds, for a NEW generation as well. Keeping it alive in people’s hearts for MANY years to come with any luck !

So here’s to Cinderella on this special day !

Sadly however, us Brits have to wait a few extra weeks before the movie is finally released here in the UK. But those of you lucky enough to see it sooner, please do let me know what you think ?

Photo-shoot Teaser !

Two of my Disney dolly gal-pal’s decided to combine their artistic talents for a photo-shoot today … Oooooooh, how exciting, hey !!

As a sideline to the OTHER story which I’m in the midst of telling you all with my recent chapters, today I had a MOST unexpected experience when I was accosted by my photographer friend, Elise, and knit-wear guru pal, Rai … Oooh-errr, hey.

I was MOST intrigued to find out WHAT they wanted however ? … Hmmmm ??

Shockingly enough though, it seems they were after ME to MODEL for them for a little project … I know … I mean, ME … MODEL ? … I’m no model !

That was a shocker I must say.

But I couldn’t really say no. Not that I particularly had the CHANCE mind you. So here were all were this afternoon. With me feeling RIGHT out of place whilst posing, twirling, and dashing about their little set here on command, as Elise and Rai discussed their vision in greater detail.

I WISHED they’d make up their minds what they actually WANTED though ? And I’m AMAZED I didn’t trip and fall on my face considering the outfit they had me wearing too … SHEESH !!

Can you tell what it is yet ? No ? … Sorry but I’m not allowed to give the game away myself …. Anyway though … We got there in the end, with a shot that BOTH creative girls were happy with too … Thank heavens, hey ! … Phew ! … Its TOUGH being a model, I tell ya.

It was a rather lovely experience though, even if I was feeling VERY shy about being photographed and scrutinised so closely. But my gal-pals were over the moon with the resulting photo as it happens. Although it was a little disappointing that they wouldn’t let ME see how it came out yet … Ohhhhh.

So I guess we’ll all have to wait until tomorrow for Elise and Rai do their big REVEAL of their FIRST combined project, and my first ever modelling experience at that.

Ooooh, exciting, hey … Let just HOPE it came out ok ?? But I guess we’ll find out soon enough … Eeeek, I’m kinda excitedly nervous right now !!

Chapter 191 – “Something Stupid – Part 2” –12th March 2015.

In part 2 of this tale, my friends and I are in for a rather unwelcome surprise, when yet ANOTHER unexpected GUEST arrives at our merry little gathering. And she’s on the HUNT too … Eeek !! But can a certain someone manage to avoid detection ? And will our VERY stupid plan to conceal the truth actually work ? It’ll be a miracle if it DOES. However will there be OTHER unforeseen consequences none the less ? Has the situation finally turned from something stupid, to something rather more serious after all ? … I guess we’ll soon find out …

The 3rd instalment of this saga will follow another day.

Chapter 190 – “Something Stupid – Part 1” – 9th March 2015.

There were certainly some silly fun and games in store for a few of us dolls today, when we all decided to play hooky and have a day off … Ooh, how naughty of us, hey. But will the addition of a few unexpected guests, who have some VERY intriguing news indeed, be a welcome one ? Or does this new development leave some of my friends feeling a little more affected by this ‘something’, which to some could be seen as seemingly rather stupid to get upset about ? … Is it REALLY all that stupid in the first place however ? … I guess you’ll have to read on to find out …

Dydd Gwŷl Dewi Sant hapus !

Or for those of you who dont speak Welsh, 'Happy St.Davids Day !'.

Saint David's Day is the feast of Saint David, the patron saint of Wales, and falls on 1 March each year. The first day of March was chosen in remembrance of Saint David as tradition holds that he died on that day in the year 569. The date was declared a national day of celebration within Wales in the 18th century.

So, in honour of our own personal close British ties to Wales (Not forgetting also that our human owner's family line goes back to some welsh roots on her mother's side a few generations ago as it happens), we thought we'd mark the occasion today.

Apart from that though, my lovely hubby simply adores any excuse to teach our daughters more about the Welsh language and traditions. And in all honesty, Ruby and Emma can speak it much better than I can so far ... But they do say children are like sponges and absorb things more easily that us adults, hey ... Ahem, y--eah.

But anyway, Rocky thought it'd also be a nice idea if we had a little family photoshoot today too, and HERE it is !!

So I guess all that's left to say now is ...
