Happy Pancake Day Everyone !

Seeing as Rocky gave me this LOVELY new oven as part of my new kitchen for Christmas last year, I couldn't exactly pass up the opportunity to have ago at the culinary tradition of pancake day now, could I ?! I mean, how hard could it really be ?

Yes yes, alright, I DO know that my past cooking exploits haven't gone amazingly well. Ok, so in all truth I'm terrible at most food preparation. But it's only batter, so what could honestly go wrong, right ? ... Hmmmm, yes well ...

<3 Celebrating 65 Years of Disney's Cinderella ! <3

For those of you NOT in the know, on this day 65 years ago, my movie, Disney's animated full length feature of Cinderella, was 1st released on 15th February 1950 !

Cinderella is the 12th in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series, and turned out to be the greatest critical and commercial hit for the studio since Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, receiving 3 oscar nominations as well, including best original song for "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo".

So here I am all dressed up in celebration of this milestone occasion, and I hope you'll all join me in honouring this wonderful masterpiece movie as well ... After all, if it wasn't for this movie, I wouldn't be here !

Happy 65th Anniversary Cinderella ! ... And here's to many many more !

<3 Celebrating 65 Years of Disney's Cinderella <3

In honour of the milestone anniversary of our movie, my sisters and decided to dress in our finest today, so we could have a group portrait photo of us taken on this very special occasion ... After all, if it wasn't for Disney's Cinderella, none of us would exist ! ... Oooh-errr, hey !

So here we all are, saying Happy 65th Anniversary, to OUR movie !!

In case you're wondering who's who here though, I should probably give a quick rundown now, seeing as I know that my sisters and I can look rather similar at times, meaning it's hard to tell up apart unless you know us all rather well ....

So, to start off, thats ME in the middle naturally, dont I look lovely ;).

The back row from left to right consists of my stepsister Marguerite, Ashley, Lonny, and my other stepsister, Jacqueline.

The middle row to my left is my eldest sister, and the head of our family, Cinderella, and to my right is our new cousin, Elaine (She's a Mattel Cinderella by the way, unlike my sisters and I who are all Disney store).

Lastly the front row from left to right is Iris, Danielle, and Charley.

If you are wondering about my twin sister though, Cin, no she is NOT in this sisterly group photo of ours. I did ask her, and even though she's been nothing but HORRID to me in the past I still made the effort to visit her in her display cabinet today, to invite her to be apart of all the fun ... Sadly however she looked me up and down in a rather put-out and condescending fashion, before turning her nose up and declaring "I'd rather NOT !!" ... Hmmmm, yes well, that was the end of that then, hey. I couldn't help but wonder if she was jealous of my new dress though ? ... Hmmmm, anyway ...

Despite my snooty twin's reaction, the rest of us had a lovely time, and well ... Here's the photographic result of our little gathering ...

I hope you like it as much as we all enjoyed taking it ?

So once again, I'll sign off by simply saying ...

Chapter 187 – “I Need A Doctor” – 11th February 2015.

After volunteering to help out in the doll hospital today, I VERY quickly discovered what a challenge this job can be. Apart from the varying ailments, injuries, gossipers, admirers, vistors, and not forgetting one VERY hypercondriac patient which I had to deal with, all amidst the outbreak of a contagious cold/flu virus might I add ... Great !! Things certainly became more than a little EXCITING from there mind you, when the arrival of one of my doll-pals, who had a seemingly minor complaint in the beginning, turned into a rather more serious situation indeed !! ... Ooooh-ecckkk !

After the day I've just had, I think I may well need a doctor now myself ... Sheesh !!

Welcome to the story of my life as a Disney Cinderella Doll :-

Ella - The World According To A Disney Doll.

Hi everyone, my name is Ella, and I'm a Disney Store Cinderella fashion doll who was adopted by Holly of www.Hollys-Dollys.co.uk. Whilst I might be a doll, my life is NOT a childrens story nor fairytale, and as such some content may not be suitable for younger children. After all, I'm not a child myself, even though I'm a doll I'm still an adult ... So THIS is my blog, charting the true story of my adventures, experiences, and growth as an individual, as I become much more than JUST a generic Princess Doll ...

The first thing you should know about me though, is despite the fact I am a Cinderella doll, I am not her, in fact I'm not anything like her to tell the truth ... I did not spend my life working for a wicked stepmother, I do not have a fairy godmother that I know of, and lastly I did NOT fall in love with Prince Charming, I married a mechanic ... Although Prince Charming is married to one of my sisters, but thats another story.

My life as a doll is not always easy, and I have gotten myself into more than a couple of silly situations in my short plastic life so far, but for better or worse this is me and the story of MY world !

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I like telling you my tales,
