Chapter 202 – “One Less Problem – Part 1” – 10th September 2015.

Just when I THINK I can sit back and relax, that my troubles are all behind me … I suddenly start to realise that perhaps I’m not the ONLY one with problems after all. Whilst more issues come to light, and a VERY persuasive family member ropes a few of us in to aid their own dilemma solving, it appears that we’re finally starting to get somewhere at last … But is someone still stewing and finding it hard to cope whilst trying to carry on as normal ? And even with all our problem solving to date, for one of us, is the BIGGEST and scariest unresolved issue still to come ?! …

Chapter 201 – “You’ll Be Under My Wheels” – 7th September 2015.

With a mixture of fast-paced thrills, reckless risks, and a rather shocking unexpected revelation to get things started. I am thrust into a somewhat trying situation from there, which confronts not only my strength of character, but who I am and how I perceive and react to other as well … Will I pass the test though ? Or ultimately succumb to my hot-headed irrational and jealous opinions, with the resultant shame and consequences weighing heavily too ? Am I truly the fair tolerant person I believe myself to be, and if I’m NOT, can I actually make it right ?

Mind you though, you may also be wondering WHO will end up under my wheels ?? I guess you’ll just have to read on to discover the answers, wont you …

Happy Birthday to me,
Happy Birthday to MEEEE,
Happy Birthday to me !” ♪♪♪.

As if THAT rather out of tune ditty, and this unsubtle piccy wasn’t a big enough clue and hint on it’s own, I suppose I should point out now to avoid any confusion, that today is my BIRTHDAY !! 

I’m a grand ole 3 years old !! … Yep, that’s right, 3 years ago this very day my human master adopted me from the Disney Store, brought me home, and set me free from my plasticy prison to explore and enjoy this big wide world.  And she let me start my little blog charting my dolly exploits that same day too.  How exciting, hey ?!

It’s amazing to recall the many daft dramas and adventures which the last 1,095 days have brought, and I cant help but wonder what the NEXT thousand may have in-store for me either ?  Hmmmmmm ?? …  Anyway, before I get far too rambling and waffley (“Too late !” I hear you reply … Whoops, sorry !!), I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all those who have followed my daft dolly tales over the past 3 years.  We've certainly had some interesting adventures together, haven't we ?  But I’m honestly touched that so many of you have taken the time to keep up with the exploits of my little plastic life ... So THANK YOU, your support means the world to me :).

If you’re curious as to how I’ll be spending my special day however … Well, it seems that I’ve had to make myself scarce for a short while (which is why I’m here on my blog right now), because Rocky and the girls are at this very moment slaving away in my little dolls-house kitchen.  Oooh-errrr, hey ?!!  I know, right.  But it seems that my adorable little Ruby and Emmy wanted to MAKE a birthday cake for me.  Apparently Daddy is NOT allowed to help either, just watch and supervise, so it’s gonna be ALL their own work … Awwww, it’s so cute.  But I must admit that I’m wondering how it’ll turn out ? … Hmmmmm, yes well, surely it cant be much worse that MY own culinary disasters ?  Can it ??  Gulp ! … Ummmm, probably best not to dwell on that scary thought though, hey.

Ahem, so where was I ? … Oh yes …

As part of my birthday gift, that lovely husband of mine has also said he’s gonna take me shopping over the weekend, to buy me a whole new outfit …  Yay, I cant wait !!  Rocky knows how much I love clothes, and you all know me, I NEVER say ‘No’ to a new frock !!

But as thrilling a thought as that may be, I suppose I had better get back on with my birthday celebrations now, and check what state those cheeky monkeys have left my little kitchen ?  Sheesh, I dread to think !!  Anyway though … Here's to the next 12 months of my adventures and beyond;).

**Enjoying a fun family day out at a car rally !**

I know I've been FAR too quiet these past couple of months, and I do apologise.  I've been having a little break from my blog over the summer, and our human master has also been tidying up and rearranging a few things in the house recently too.  Meaning us dolls have had to keep a low profile and our movements to a minimum for the time being.  Hopefully things SHOULD be back to normal soon though ;).

Anyway, we did get a chance to get out of the house for a little family fun over the weekend just gone, when Holly took us along to a big car show called "Mini In The Park". 

And here we are in our own little Mini-moke having a drive about the showground ...  What fun, hey !

We all had a fab day out, as you can imagine Rocky LOVED admiring all the vehicles and watching the action on the drag strip quarter mile.  Plus Ruby and Emmy also had a whale of a time too, I suspect they have indeed inherited their fathers love of anything on wheels.

It was lovely getting out and about again at last though, and I'm HOPING it's a sign that things will soon get back to normal around here.  Fingers crossed.  Especially with my 3rd birthday coming up in the not so distant future ... Wow, can you bellieve I'm almost 3 years old ?! ... But anyway ...

Today is my lovely husband's birthday. Rocky is 32 years old, can you believe it ?! ... Wow, that is getting on a bit in doll terms, isn't it. But anyway ...

As you can see, we're having a little family party and barbecue for the birthday-boy, plus he's trying out his new present as well. I bought him a camping trailer, complete with tent and everything we need for a little outdoorsy adventure. The girls made birthday cards too, aren't they the cutest ? Plus they gave daddy his very own Tsum Tsum cushion as a gift ... Awwwww. They think it looks like him, and I must admit I can kinda see the resemblance.

We're just in the midst of cooking our lunch at the moment, hopefully Rocky is better at this barbecue stuff than his Father was last year ... Ooooph, those charred burgers and sausages were certainly well crimated when Rockford was done with them way back when. But at least we have a nice birthday cake to enjoy if all else fails, hey ... Hang on a moment, have those cheeky monkeys been at the cake already ?!! Urrrrrghhhhhh, deary me !!

As much as I'd love to stay and chat though, I must dash, as I promised Rocky that we'd all spend the day together as a family. Plus Crystal said she might pop by later too (Let's not forget that she's Rocky's twin sister and it's her birthday too. So many happy returns as well Crissy).

As for the birthday-boy however, I guess the only thing left to do is to sing ...

**Kicking back in the Summer sunshine with my best-friend - What could be better ?!**

Mmmmmm, how lovely to have some time to simply RELAX, hey ....

I hope you're all having a nice summer yourselves ?

Sorry that I've been so quiet these last few weeks.  I've been having a little break from blogging to enjoy some quality time with my friends and family during the hotter weather.

As you can see here though, Jem and I have been spending lots of time chilling out, sunbathing, and generally having a good ole girly gossip and catchup.  Plus planning for my wonderful Rocky's upcoming birthday this Friday of course ... I guess I'll have to cross my little plastic fingers and hope he likes the present I've bought him, hey.  But anyway ...

I've been loving every minute of my little rest bite, but dont worry I will get back to relaying some more indepth accounts and chapters of my daft dolly adventures in the very near future.

Until then, I hope you're having a fanatstic summer, and I'll see you all again very soon.

"A fond farewell to Yorkshire - See you again next year (Hopefully) !"

– North York Moors Summer Holiday 2015 –

After a wonderful week of fun adventures and a break from the daily grind, our summer vacation had at last come to an end ... Awwwww.  So as the saturday morning of our departure arrived it was time to pack up and say our goodbyes to the cottage, village, and surrounding moorlands, which we'd had the pleasure to call home these past seven days.

As the four of us quietly sat out in the garden, waiting for the human types to finish loading up the car, it was certainly interesting looking back over our exploits from this particular trip.  As much as I was sorry to leave however, part of me was still itching to get home again, to see my precious Munchkins, to sleep in my own bed again, and to catch up with all our friends and loved ones back in the land of Hollys Dollys too ... I couldn't help but wonder though, how Mr & Mrs Bruce will fare in adjusting and settling down to married life now that their honeymoon is officially over ? ... Hmmmmm, are their troubles and drama's truly behind then now that they're married ?  I guess we'll have to wait and see, hey.

Just before we left however, we had one last chance to say a quick "Farewell Yorkshire. We've had a wonderful time, and we'll most certainly be back again too !".

And so that brings my North York Moors summer holiday 2015 to a close !
