** HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE ! **

It's THAT time of year again ... The day of goblins, ghouls, ghostie's, and things that go BUMP in the night too !! Plus let's not forget that it's also a chance for us all to dress up out of character and enjoy a little SPOOKY fun and games whilst we celebrate 'All Hallows’ Eve' ... Hoo-hoo ha-haaaa !!

As usual our whole family has gotten into the spirit of things, and this year we've all decided to dress in a matching theme as well ... So Ruby, Emma, and I all donned witch costumes (mines the wicked witch of the West from Oz by the way, but Emmy keeps insisting that I look like I'm from on of the Harry Potter stories. Never mind though, hey. So anyway ...), whilst Rocky has dressed himself as the evil sorcerer, Jafar, from Aladdin !

I must admit that I could NOT stop laughing at his FAKE beard, moustache, and evil eyebrows when he first appeared after getting ready. He just looks so dramatically over the top, hey. But I guess that's my handsome hubby to a 'T' ! ... I hope he's not expecting me to kiss him with all that 'whatever-it-is' over his face though ? ... Eeeek, now that IS a scary thought !!

But as much as I'd love to chat further now, I suppose I had better get going, because the girl's are dying to start the 'Trick or Treating' rounds it seems. Somehow I think the lure of all that candy is far too enticing for the little cutie's ... Mind you, their father is JUST as bad in that respect, and he's insisting that we need our own bag to collect sweets and treats for us as well ! Deary me, what is he like, hey ? ... But I guess it's better than him eating all the girls candy's though, so who am I to argue with that ?

I hope you all have fun yourselves this evening, and of course remember to stay safe as well ! So I suppose all that's left to do now is wish you all a spooktacular night ! ...

Chapter 204 – “Rockstar” – 27th October 2015.

As one of the lucky select few invited, I certainly THOUGHT I was in for an exciting TREAT this afternoon, having been offered a RARE sneaky-peek at our in-house rock-band, 'The Dolly-Mixtures', in action. Whilst they rehearse for a VERY important up-coming gig as it happens !

Will the fun and games of such a Rockstar lifestyle REALLY turn out to be all it's cracked-up though ? Or does the TRUTH not only reveal the extreme effort involved in being a musician, with all the nit-picking, technical difficulties, and constant repetitive refining of the act. But also the swooning, ego-clashes, jealousies, diva-dramas, one-upmanship, and historic feuds which ALSO seem to surface just from an audience perspective during this ONE jamming session alone ... Blimey !!

Will the up's and down of this rollercoaster ride actually take us where we're expecting though ? ... Or will it seemingly tell an altogether DIFFERENT story to the one we're all led to believe ?

Do we all REALLY wanna be Rockstars after all ? ... Following today's events, I'm certainly starting to wonder myself ...

'Feeling VERY under the weather !' :(

Apparently with the arrival of the autumn and winter months we're also treated to the start of the season of coughs, colds and runny noses too ... Great, what a treat for us all, hey ?! ... Perhaps NOT though.

I was HOPING to have had another chapter update of my adventures for you all by now.  Sadly however, I've been suffering with a nasty cold this last week, and as yet haven't really managed to do much except lay on the sofa and feel sorry for myself ... Sniffle-sniff.

Thankfully my lovely Rocky has been going all out to make me feel more comfortable though, and even Ruby & Emma have been doing there part too, which is so sweet.  They helped Daddy to make some tomato soup for me this evening which was incredibly adorable ... Awww.

But anyway, as much as I complain about my sufferings and whatnot, in actual fact I am feeling a touch stronger this evening, which is why I've managed to come online for a bit now :).  I still have a little way to go before I'm back to normal again of course, but I HOPE I'm now over the worst ... Fingers crossed.

With any luck I'll be fighting fit and will see you all again in no time at all.  But as much as I'd like to chat more now, I'm feeling a little muzzy in the head again as it happens, so I think it may be time for another lie down ... Zzzzzzzz.

**A Special Birthday In The Most Magical Place On Earth !!**

Can you GUESS where we've been ? Hehehe :p ;) ... If you cant I'll be MOST surprised, but anyway ...

Last wednesday my beautiful daughter, Emma, celebrated her FIRST birthday, awwww <3 ... But even MORE exciting than that was the unexpected treat for the precious little cutie that her big day also coincided with our recent mini-vacation in Disneyland Paris !

Woohoooooo's all round there, hey !!

Naturally our celebrations were somewhat different to how they would have been if we were at home though, seeing as we had limited resources at our disposal. However we still made a BIG splash for the birthday girl none the less, including lots of balloons and a cute new Cinderella dolly which Emmy picked out herself as the present she wanted the most. She wouldn't put it down all day either ... Awwww. Don’t worry though, we made sure Ruby didn't feel left out. She had her own little balloon as well to mark her big sisters special day, and BOTH girls were treated like Princesses by their doting Father and I.

As you can most likely tell from this piccy, we all had a WONDERFUL time, not only on Emma's birthday but during our entire trip … Can you believe that THIS was the view of the castle which we had from the balcony on our human master’s hotel room !? Amazing, hey ?! Mind you, we all enjoyed endless hours in the parks on the rides too, in particular Fantasyland which is a favourite of BOTH the girls. I lost count of the number of times we went on the teacups, Snow White & Pinocchio rides, Alice in Wonderland’s maze, Peter Pan's flight, the Casey Junior Train, Storybook boats and so on so forth. Not to mention the Studios with, Animagique, the Ratatouille ride, Slinky Dog and the Genie Magic Carpets ... Wow, no wonder I'm feeling rather tired, hey ?! Just THINKING about it all is exhausting.

But back to the point again …

It honestly was a thoroughly magical holiday, which was made even MORE special for Rocky and I when Emmy told us that it was the BEST birthday ever, and EXACTLY what she wished for too !! Awwwww, bless. Sniffle, my baby !! ... Granted it's her first birthday, so there isn't much frame of reference for comparison there, but I still felt rather moved by my sweet young daughters take on her special day all the same.

We’ve been back home a few days now, but I still haven’t managed to finish unpacking or catch up on everything as yet … Plus I’m feeling a tad run off my little plastic feet getting the girls ready for starting school again soon too. Blimey, a Mother’s work is NEVER done, is it ? However, even in the midst of all this flapping and whatnot, the memories of our perfect Disney vacation are certainly something to treasure and are making me feel all warm, glowy, and fuzzy inside even now … Mmmmm <3.

So I guess the only thing left to do is to wish a belated …

Chapter 203 – “One Less Problem – Part 2” – 17th September 2015.

In the final instalment of this problematic little mini-saga, things take a somewhat INTERESTING turn indeed when my stepsister comes face to face with our Mother at last ! Gulp !! Can they make amends and move on from the past though ? Or is her Ladyship simply biding her time whilst looking for the MOST opportune moment to strike a crippling blow to my sweet sibling ? Either way, I have a feeling there may be a few fireworks still to come. But perhaps with some unusually delivered confidence building advice from a few quirky gal-pal’s, Marguerite might actually be the one to surprise us all in the end ?!

Will we have one less problem when we reach the conclusion though ? … I guess you’ll have to read on to find out …

<3 <3 Remembering Our 1st Date ! <3 <3

When looking back on the memorable moments of your life, there are always a few SPECIAL events which stand out above all others, aren’t there ?  As it happens, today is the anniversary of an occasion which changed my little plastic life FOREVER too !!

It’s funny to think that 3 years ago this very day was mine and Rocky’s FIRST date.  But, oh what a wonderful night that was, full of magic and romance … And how far we’ve come since that life-altering evening as well, hey.

I can still recall the nervous butterflies in my little plastic stomach at the time, and how I trembled with excitement when this dashing and handsome fella pulled my body closer as we danced … I was so unsure of myself, and yet SO swept away by the romance of it all at the time.  In a way, it felt like the first night of the rest of my life. 

I already cared for Rocky before that fateful evening of course, but THIS was where I began to fall ever so deeply in love with him too.  This was where I lost my heart <3 … Awwwww.

Back to the present however … I’m not entirely sure what my lovely fella has planned for this evening, to mark this special 3 year milestone of ours.  In all truth I’m kinda hoping for a quiet night, just the two of us, EXACTLY like that first date of ours … But in the end, as long as we’re together, I guess it doesn’t really matter what else we get up to, hey.

Wow !!  THREE whole years of being ‘Ella & Rocky’.  What a wonderful thing to celebrate.

Chapter 202 – “One Less Problem – Part 1” – 10th September 2015.

Just when I THINK I can sit back and relax, that my troubles are all behind me … I suddenly start to realise that perhaps I’m not the ONLY one with problems after all. Whilst more issues come to light, and a VERY persuasive family member ropes a few of us in to aid their own dilemma solving, it appears that we’re finally starting to get somewhere at last … But is someone still stewing and finding it hard to cope whilst trying to carry on as normal ? And even with all our problem solving to date, for one of us, is the BIGGEST and scariest unresolved issue still to come ?! …
