Supporting Football Shirt Friday !
Today is Football Shirt Friday in the UK, which is a charity event encouraging people to wear their footy shirts to work etc, and donate £2 for the privilege. The money goes to the Bobby Moore fund at Cancer Research UK, which helps beat bowel cancer. All money raised goes towards funding world class research that has the potential for the greatest impact in ensuring more people survive bowel cancer.
Us dolls are always up for mucking in with a good cause, and seeing as so many of the menfolk in our community are footy fans themselves they were eager to take part in this very worthwhile event … They even convinced ME to join in and wear a borrowed football shirt too ! Shocking, hey. But seeing as it’s for charity, how could I ever refuse.
