<3 Congratulations To My Newly Engaged Doll-pals !! <3

 It certainly seems as if something's in the water around here of late, with all the lovely romantic announcements we've had from my friends this last month.  So I thought I'd post up my own congratulations to these three adorable recently betrothed couples, and show you their OFFICIAL engagement photos too, as taken by my good friend, Elise ... Aren't they utterly sweet ? <3.

Oooooh, so exciting to think that our little dolly community will have some weddings coming up in the future ... Yay !!  I cant help but wonder who'll actually be the first couple to walk down the aisle and tie the knot though ? ... Hmmmm ?  Any predictions ?? 

Anyway though ... I hope you'll join me in sending best wishes to the future brides and grooms all the same.

Chapter 195 – “Who Do You Love Now ?” – 23rd April 2015.

When the past come back to haunt there’s gasps of shock and confusion running rife. But the startling question of HOW or WHY this happened is actually the LAST thing on our little plastic minds. Because we’re far more interested in the fact that one person in particular is now seemingly stuck with a difficult dilemma over two VERY different women ... One from his past, the other his present. But which one will he choose to spend his FUTURE with ? … Who do you love now ?! …

Chapter 194 – “Somebody That I Used To Know – Part 2” – 15th April 2015.

Just when I thought we were finally safe from all those uncomfortable encounters, things took a rather awkward turn indeed, for me AND my Stepsister … Gulp !! Are Marguerite and Bruce truly prepared to face this first meeting since their break-up though ? And more to the point … When it’s all over, and I FINALLY believe its safe to relax at last, will someone even MORE unexpectedly shocking make their presence known, and shake us ALL to our very core in the process ?! … Oooh-errr, hey.

Chapter 193 – “Somebody That I Used To Know – Part 1” – 9th April 2015.

It was a day filled with surprises and chance encounters for us little dollies, and some of us REALLY weren’t prepared to face these unexpected occurrences either … Gulp !!

When the past starts coming back to haunt a few of us however, in the 1st chapter of this 3 part saga, I certainly began questioning my former actions and behaviour. But also pondered the REAL positive and negative impacts of bumping into somebody that I used to know ? Hmmm ?? …

Funnily enough however, this was only the beginning. Because there were still MORE shocks and surprises to come from here ! … Oooh-errrr, hey !

<3 Happy Easter Everyone !! <3

Just a quick piccy to say, I hope you're all having a lovely Easter ? And even if you dont celebrate it, at least it's nice to enjoy the spring holiday, hey.

This is a very special time of year for Rocky and I (and our little family), seeing as it was on Easter Sunday two years ago that we made the decision to have our first child ... Awwww.  Will you look at us now though, a proper family and everything with our beautiful daughters.  Mmmmm, happy sigh :) <3.

Anyway ... Have a good 'un, wont you, and try not to overdose TOO much on all those lovely choccy eggs.  Mind you, I think that's gonna be rather tough where my two little bunnies are concerned.  Oh well ;).

A trip to the cinema on the last day of our Yorkshire Dales spring vacation ... Can you guess what we went to see though ?  Hehehe :p ;).

Seeing as I'm a Cinderella doll myself, I guess it'll be no great surprise to you all that I was more than a little keen to see the new live action Cinderella movie when it finally came out in the UK recently.  So when our human owner booked tickets for the last day of our holiday (the UK release day) we made plans to sneak along to see it as well.  But shhhhh, you mustn't let on ;).

We had almost a 2 hour drive ahead of us to get to the cinema when the day arrived .  Shockingly it was the closest one to the holiday cottage though.  But we made it there in good time none the less, and in no time at all we were sitting in our seats and ready for the start ... Ooooh, so exciting !

Ruby and Emma LOVED the Frozen Fever short at the beginning, and now they keep shouting out "Snowgies !!" every time someone sneezes too.  Bless 'em, hey. 

As for the Cinderella movie itself though, all I can say is WOW !!  It was breathtakingly brilliant, and this coming from someone who is probably one of the harshest critics, seeing as it's a remake of 'MY' movie that we're talking about here.  But this new version did the Cinderella tale justice and more. I'd highly recommend it <3 ;).

I'm not sure Marguerite was too impressed by the portrayal of the stepsisters mind you, but it would hardly be the Cinderella story if they were nice, would it.  In truth though, I wonder if she found all the romance a little difficult at the moment, considering her own heartbreak.  However, I know she did enjoy the film in general.

My little Munchkins did as well of course.  Ruby was very fond of the mice, and Emmy loved it when they turned into horses.  It did make me and Rocky laugh however, when at the end of the movie Ruby said "Dat didn't looky much like YOU, Mummy !" ... Awww how cute.  For some reason it seems the adorable precious was expecting to see ME in the film ... BLESS !!!

Anyway, we had a lovely time, and it was the perfect end to our vacation as well.  I even picked up a little gifty at the cinema to, which I'll be doing as a giveaway for one of my fans in the near future, so keep your eyes out for that ;).

But all good things must come to an end, so this now brings to a close my Yorkshire Dales adventures. 

We've been back home for a week now, so it's all back to normal around here.  But hopefully I'll have another proper chaper of my story for you all soon.  Until then, hey.

A lovely springtime picnic at Fountains Abbey.  But is everything as it seems ? ...

Another adventure from our Yorkshire Dales vacation last week was a trip to the picturesque Fountains Abbey, and WOW, what a sight it was as well.  Look at that view will you !!

The weather was glorious, so we couldn't resist stopping for a little family picnic on the grass whilst taking in the breathtaking scenery.  Ruby and Emma loved having the chance to run around and play outdoors as well.  It really was a perfect day :) . 

Whilst enjoying our little picnic though, we started hearing some lovely quiet musical chanting, carried over in the wind.  We assumed it must be a recording playing from inside the abbey, or perhaps a choir was in the ruins singing ?  It was faint but very pretty indeed, and certainly added to the atmosphere of this GRAND location.  I didn't think anything more about it at the time though, and instead enjoyed the rest of our day exploring the grounds ...

Funnily enough however, when we returned to the holiday cottage later that evening, we all remembered the chanting sounds again, but none of us could figure out where it'd come from ?  There were no speakers in the abbey ruins, and there were hardly any people there except us either.  Certainly not enough to form a choir ... Ooooh-errrrr ?? ... After a quick internet search though, we soon discovered that what we'd heard was not a recording, nor any REAL people singing, but it was a ghostly choir of monks, which supposedly has been heard on rare occasions chanting in the Chapel of Nine Altars at the abbey !!!

Eh ?? ... Ooooooh-errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!!

Flippin HECK !!!  We weren't 'arf rather shocked to discover that, I tell ya ... CREEPY !!  Ooooh, I've just had a touch of a cold shiver down my little plastic spine whilst recalling it now too.  Brrrr.

Anyway, Rocky and I decided it was best not to tell the little-ones what we'd discovered.  After all, we'd had a wonderful day out, and in truth the ghostly chanting we'd heard didn't sound menacing or eerie.  If anything it was more peaceful and and contented.  So if there are spirits in the ruins of Fountains Abbey, I'd say they're rather benign and not a threat to anyone.

What an unusual experience though, hey ? ;)
